Step-by-Step Production Process

1. Wire Drawing

The process begins with wire drawing, where thick steel rods are drawn through a series of dies to produce wires of desired diameters (typically from 1.2mm to 5.0mm). This step ensures the wires are smooth, uniform, and strong.

2. Wire Straightening and Cutting (or Coiling)

Next, the drawn wires are either straightened and cut into fixed lengths for panel mesh, or kept in coils for roll mesh production. This depends on whether the final product is in sheet form or roll form.

3. Welding

The core of the process is the welding stage. Wires are precisely aligned and electrically welded at each cross point using an automatic welding machine. This ensures that the mesh has high tensile strength and remains flat and firm.

4. Galvanizing

After welding, the mesh undergoes galvanization. There are two types:

• Electro Galvanizing: A thinner zinc layer, suitable for indoor use.

• Hot-Dip Galvanizing: A thicker and more durable zinc layer, ideal for outdoor and corrosive environments.

In many cases, hot-dip galvanizing after welding is preferred for better protection, as it seals the welded joints completely.

5. Cutting and Packaging

The finished galvanized welded mesh is then cut into the required size (e.g., 4ft x 100ft rolls or custom panels), and carefully packed in pallets or wrapped rolls to ensure safe transportation.
